Browser Helper

A small Chrome extension that opens every Sportsbet event in your latest slip, highlights the matching selection on each page, and (optionally) auto-clicks H2H markets to add them straight to your betslip.

Current version: v1.2.0. Desktop Chrome only - see the mobile note below.

1

Download the helper

Download multi-builder-helper.zip

Save and unzip somewhere you will not delete (e.g. ~/Documents/multi-builder-helper).

2

Open Chrome's extensions page

Paste this in the address bar:

chrome://extensions

Toggle Developer mode on (top-right).

3

Load the helper

Click Load unpacked and pick the folder you unzipped in step 1.

The NQ Multi-Builder Helper should now appear in your extensions list. Pin it to the toolbar.

4

Place a slip

Click the helper's toolbar icon to open the popup. You'll see the latest slip's leg count and combined odds. Decide:

  • Auto-add ON (default): the helper opens each event tab and clicks the matching H2H selection for you. Line/Total/SGM markets stay highlighted but you click them yourself.
  • Auto-add OFF: every selection stays highlighted in yellow, you click each one manually.

Then click Open all event tabs. Tabs open one at a time with a 4-second pause between each, so Sportsbet does not throttle.

Once all tabs are open, switch to your Sportsbet betslip, set your stake, and place the multi.

How to read the on-page panel

Every Sportsbet event page that's part of your slip will show a floating panel in the bottom-right with:

  • Slip ID, leg count and combined odds
  • The mode pill: AUTO-ADD ON (yellow) or MANUAL (grey)
  • Each leg on this page with selections, a green AUTO pill if it'll be clicked for you, or a grey MANUAL pill if you need to click yourself
  • Live progress: 2 of 3 added until DONE
  • A list of remaining legs with quick links to those events

On the page itself the matching selection is outlined yellow. After it's added, the outline turns green. If the live odds have moved more than 5% from the slip, the outline goes orange to warn you.

What the helper does NOT do

  • It does not log into Sportsbet, see your balance, or place bets. You set the stake and hit Place Bet yourself.
  • It does not auto-click Line, Total, SGM, or any non-H2H market. Those typically open a sub-card that needs a deliberate choice, so the helper just highlights them.
  • It does not talk to anything except this site (a single read-only fetch of the latest slip). Your Sportsbet session stays in your browser.

Behaviour notes

  • If a selection's odds have drifted more than 5% from the slip, the highlight turns orange. Decide before clicking.
  • The panel lists every leg in the slip with a link, so you can hop between events.
  • Updating the slip on this site updates the helper automatically; just refresh the Sportsbet tab.
  • The popup can be closed mid-import - the helper continues queueing tabs in the background and updates the popup status next time you open it.

Mobile

Stock Chrome on Android and Chrome on iOS do not support extensions. Same for Edge mobile, Brave mobile, and Safari iOS. Google has stated this is by design and won't change. So the helper will not run on your phone or tablet.

For mobile, use the Betslip page directly. It's mobile-friendly: tap each leg link, the Sportsbet event page opens (or jumps to the Sportsbet app if you have it installed), then add the selection there. Slower than auto-add but works on any device.

Niche desktop-class browsers like Kiwi can run Chrome extensions on Android, but Kiwi's development has effectively stopped. Firefox for Android only allows extensions from a curated whitelist, which this one is not in. Both options are not recommended.

Troubleshooting

  • Nothing happens when I click "Open all event tabs": in chrome://extensions, click the helper's Errors button (or "service worker" link) to see the background log. Then reload the helper.
  • Tabs open but selections aren't highlighted: the helper requires the latest slip. Click Refresh slip in the popup, then reload the Sportsbet tab.
  • An event page shows "This event is not in your current slip": that event was on an older slip. Build a new slip on this site, refresh the helper.
  • Auto-click doesn't fire on H2H: Sportsbet may have changed its DOM structure. Open the page's DevTools console - the helper logs [MB] messages. Worst case, untick auto-add and click manually until it's fixed.
